If you want to support the work of MINA, then there are several ways we can make this possible…

Contact us if you want to change the life of individual people or a community …

Investing for a Starting Entrepreneur

With your donation, you make it possible for a person or family to start their own micro-businesses. You finance the GYB-training, the SYB-training, the Evaluation of the Business Plan. Beside that you invest in the Set-up of the business as a loan for the entrepreneur.

The trainings are given by MINA trainers. The investment in the business is used as a revolving fund: tthe loan for the Start-up of the business will be repaid and can be reused. The amount needed for the start-up business varies by the type of business. If you would like to donate for a specific business or a specifc family, please contact MINA or MBC.

Expected need for creating a business for an entrepreneur: $150 for training +$50 for the evaluation of the business plan + $1000 as start-up capital for the business, a total of $1200.

Creating a Change in a Community

With your donation for the ‘ Community Impact ‘ package, you can transform a whole community. Up to 20 people will be offered the ‘Generate Your Business Idea’ training. A number of people fall after this training. The survivor’s group follows the ‘Start Your Business’ training. For the group that continues, 10 Business Plans will be evaluated and refined. Five (5) participants get the possibility to start their business by receiving a Startup Capital, a short-term loan. Two (2) coaches support the entrepreneurs to get through the first crucial months.

An irreversible impact in a local community: concrete steps out of poverty by bringing people pro-active in their own circumstances!
Expected costs for business in a community: GYB & SYB training for 20 people, evaluation of 10 Business Plans, Capital for starting 5 businesses: a total of $9.500

Office Support

MINA does a lot of work for Business Creation in the background. The materials are improved, the trainings are planned and prepared, contact with partner organizations and participants, the administration and finances, the work involved in meeting the local and national requirements for running the organization, etc. All this behind-the-scenes work must also be done by our team.

Donation: With a (one-off or monthly) donation to MINA you support this essential part of their development program.
